naomi kobayashi

the other day I had a too-good-to-be-true moments....I happened upon perfect illustrations by japanese artist naomi kobayashi.  I immediately placed them on my desktop and have been visiting them a few times a day ever since...

simply put...they make me happy.

I am rarely at a loss for words...actually, many times I find that I have too many....

however, in this case I don't feel my words can do these stunning works justice.  I think it may be something like trying to explain a really beautiful dream...except in this case you can see it for yourself.  xo mrs. french

Really quite delightful, and mesmerizing in the most minimalistic way.

I've studied a lot of art and I know that when you find a particular piece or set of pieces that takes your breath away, that's when art has done it's magic on you.
