after over a year of blogging it has occurred to me how repetitive I am...this post is no exception. we have lived in oregon almost 5 years. five hard, but wonderful years...I'll admit it, many times I wanted to head back to my beloved Saint Paul, but am glad I stuck it out...oregon is home.
one of the most wonderful things about living here is the fact that I am constantly amazed by all the beauty in this one state. this was our first french excursion to southern oregon. Jacksonville to be exact. one of the sweetest/quaintest town I have ever been to. this is where the wedding I was privileged enough to shoot took place...here is a peek...

These photos are beautiful, Traci. The couple was lucky to have you!
I think we all get bit by that boredom bug... I am guilty of it too, especially after travelling so much.. I come home and feel blah.. But sometimes I whip out my camera and un amzed by what I see (and ignore) but look at your photos and think someone else might be wishing that they are exactly where you are!
Fantastic colors! I can see why you love Oregon so much.

the DEER! what a lovely little place for a wedding. the twin cities are wonderful (it must be summer for me to say that), but i do feel such a draw to the pacific northwest. i will likely end up there one of these days. . . . can't wait to see more.
Some things are just meant for one another.
You for Oregon, and bliss for me...

Beautiful pictures as always and very inspiring.
By Saint Paul, do you mean Minnesota? 'Cause I'm from the Twin cities but have been living for the past decade in Ireland. My parents live in Jax.
I miss Saint Paul too, My oldest child was born there.
By Saint Paul, do you mean Minnesota? 'cause I'm from the Twin Cities, too (having lived all over the cities). My son was born in Saint Paul. I get homesick for Minnesota, too, having lived for the last decade in Ireland, which is home now as well.
Absolutely gorgeous! The colors you capture always astound me darling Trac, I bet the wedding photos you took are out of this world and you know what? It I was getting married all over again, I would fly you out to take our pictures!

if you mean Saint Paul in MN, I know why you love it.
it's interesting how we all have different loves. when I crossed over to Oregon from CA a few years back, I felt like I had finally found my soul's home. :)
gorgeous colors in the photos.
I love the Levi ad on the brickwork. Beautiful shots, as always.
That lone blade of grass is perfection. Can't wait to see more!
