bumpstyle

a few years back I was taking a lonely walk in my little neighborhood with my baby b.  I heard a little voice similar to the sounds mr. b was making at the time.  I glanced over and there was a sweet baby and her momma with a warm smile.  the stalking began, I was new to town and I needed friends in the worst way.  it turned out that our babies were a day apart and my stalking didn't bother ms. michaela stanton too terribly much.  we became friends...

the icing on the cake is that this friend of mine is talented.  she has a line of beautiful maternity tops called bumpstyle.  each piece is sewn by hand from the softest cotton and is long enough to cover you and your baby throughout the entire pregnancy...

the best part is that I think is that each piece has a way of highlighting all the beautiful things about being pregnant...

I do resent michaela just a tiny bit...it really isn't fair that I met her after b came into the world.  although I have to admit I recently acquired one of her perfect ts and wear it all the time with skinny jeants and boots....it has quickly become a mrs. french favorite...

another thing about my friend is that she has been very supportive of my photographic journey...so much so that she asked me to photograph her pieces.  I think they turned out quite nice considering this was my first real shoot involving a model (molly made it easy, isn't she beautiful?)...the three of us made quite the team...

talented friends are the best...thank you michaela for being a real-life friend, even after all the stalking...xo mrs. french

Beautiful bump style shirts. I really love the black one with short sleeves. Great photo too. Alas, no more babies coming my way either.

is there anything more beautiful than a woman's belly growing a baby? i am envious of the styles today that show the glorious miracle as it takes form ... it is simply magnificent and these styles truly show the radiance of these mom's-to-be ...

OMG how completely adorable! It is so hard to find cute maternity tops and I love that these are long because I have a long torso.
